A security force rescued a man and his son who tried to commit suicide from the top of the Republican Bridge in central Baghdad, a security source said on Friday.

The source said in an interview with Alsumaria News that "patrols Najda al-Kindi was able to save a person with his son, the 6-year-old living in the area of ​​the Secretary tried to throw himself with his son from the top of the bridge of the Republic in central Baghdad to commit suicide."

The source, who asked not to be named, said that "they were handed over to the concerned authorities to take fundamentalist measures."

It is noteworthy that a number of Iraqi cities witnessed during the last period of suicide cases attributed by psychiatrists to the psychological pressure and changes experienced by Iraqi society after the events of 2003.
